What does the $50 actually buy?
It secures your Founding VIP status and every perk listed on this page, including 40% off your first eligible stay and pre-release booking access. It is not the purchase of a specific stay or specific dates.
When will Sunset Prairie open?
We’re targeting Fall 2027 for the first permanent accommodations. Founding VIPs will be able to book before general availability, and we’ll keep you updated on progress along the way.
When can I use the 40% discount?
On your first eligible stay once the permanent accommodations open for reservations. VIPs receive pre-release booking access ahead of the general public.
Is 40% off really the best rate?
Yes. VIP pricing is the lowest rate Sunset Prairie will offer, and it exists only during this founding period. Once the cottages open to the public, it goes away.
Can I visit or stay before then?
Absolutely, and we’d encourage it. Farm visits are available now by reservation, priced per vehicle, and limited overnight stays are available in our Class A motorhome.
Do the perks apply to the motorhome stays available now?
The VIP perks are designed for the future permanent accommodations. Any application to current motorhome availability will be confirmed at booking.
Is the $50 deposit refundable?
Yes. Your deposit is refundable until you use your VIP benefit to book your first eligible stay. Complete VIP terms apply.
How are the perk values calculated?
Values are estimates based on comparable rates and the current price of our farm experiences. They’re there to show what the benefits are worth, not as a credit balance.
What if the opening is delayed?
Development timelines can move, and we’ll tell you if ours does. Your VIP status and benefits carry forward, and we’ll be honest with you about progress the whole way.
What will you send me?
Build progress, farm updates, VIP gathering invitations and advance notice of booking windows. We email when there’s genuinely something to share.
I purchased my VIP membership, but my discount isn’t being applied. What should I do?
First, make sure you’re logged into the account associated with your VIP membership. You can check this by visiting the My Account page.
If you’re not logged in, sign in using the email address you used when purchasing your VIP membership.
If you don’t have a password yet, click “Lost your password?” and you’ll receive an email with instructions to access your account.
Once you’re logged in with the correct account, your VIP discount should be applied automatically when making your first eligible stay reservation.
